General Responsibilities:  • Product performance and development.  • Product efficiency and reliability.  • Engineering and technical support to well operators and sales/marketing team. Essential Responsibilities and Duties: Assists with prototype applications and new product market introductions • Investigates unusual or unsatisfactory product performance to determine root cause and preventative action • Analyzes, benchmarks and evaluates the Bits and Drilling Tools performance and initiate new/ modification bit and drilling tools design requests. Participate in internal design reviews • Lead engineering/technical position in the area overseeing multiple products or districts • Mentor and coaches less experienced people at the location • Provides technical support to the field sales organization and to well operators.

Provide technical and product application recommendations on product line. Measure product performance and recommends design modifications to existing products. Analyzes and reports product field test results. Benchmarks product performance. Assists in analysis of production data and/or product failures.

- Planning & preparing activities related to client requirements - attending pre-job meetings, assigning suitable equipment, checking calibration & operation of assigned equipment, packing & supervising transport of assigned equipment & arranging mobilization of personnel - Installing, setting up, testing, calibrating, performing operations, maintaining & operating assigned equipment - Direct operations in consultation with client representative & logging programme & have responsibility for supervision, safety, training & performance of subordinates at client sites - Attending post-job meetings, completing & submitting relevant paperwork, deal with client requirements & maintaining equipment. - Basic log evaluation analysis
